Jonathan Munves grew up in Dallas and graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2002. After college, Jonathan attended Washington University School of Law in St. Louis, Missouri. Life then took him in a different direction with a family business, but he returned to Austin in 2015 and reentered the legal field. He has been a family law paralegal in the Austin area for the past nine years, working on everything from amicable agreed divorces to the most complex of family law disputes.

Jonathan joined the team at Powers Kerr & Rashidi, PLLC, in October of 2024, and assists the three skilled attorneys with all aspects of the firm’s cases including divorce, property division, child custody disputes, child support, grandparents’ rights, paternity, adoptions, enforcement actions, custody modifications, and marital property agreements.

Jonathan is a committed, compassionate listener, and always makes himself available to help clients navigate their journey through the complexities of the legal system. Jonathan is able to move clients’ cases toward resolution while providing support and guidance, and answering questions along the way.
